‘I couldn’t do Strictly, I’d end up bonking my dance partner’

CROONER Michael Bublé says he’d never sign up to Strictly Come Dancing as he’d worry about ending up in bed with his dance partner.

The happily married chart topper admitted he’d refuse in case he fell in love with his professional dancer.

Dad of two Michael said: “I would be too afraid that I would fall in love with the professional that I would be dancing with.

“I honestly do not know how everyone is not having sex with everyone else in that show.”

Michael, 41, says he would be insane to add his name to the ever-growing list and risk his marriage to model wife Luisana Lopilato.

He said: “Am I crazy? It is a scary thing and there is such intimacy as you are learning together and already falling in love.”

The infamous Strictly curse has been well documented in the past.

Previous contestants including Georgia May Foote, Rachel Riley, Ben Cohen and Joe Calzaghe have all fallen for their dance partners.

Former pro Flavia Cacace went as far as dumping fellow pro dancer Vincent Simone for EastEnders actor Matt Di Angelo. She then dumped him before falling for another contestant Jimi Mistry whom she later married.

Even though Michael has ruled out dancing, BBC bosses are now hoping to sign him up for a performance slot.

The Canadian singer is currently riding high in the UK album charts with new record Nobody But Me.

He said: “I would love to. “My wife is the boss. It’s her body and she will tell me when she’s ready, if she’s ready.” STRICTLY judge Darcey Bussell has recalled her embarrassment dancing with a passionate older man.

The former ballerina performed with Russian Irek Mukhamedov when she was in her 20s. For one routine he insisted on getting up close and personal.

Darcey said: “I danced with him very early in my career. We had an intense working relationship.

“He played a soldier who I had an affair with and I am a school teacher. He is much older than me. I was only
