GEMMA Chan has revealed playing a robot on telly has made her a hit with sci-fi geeks. She said: “I’ve recorded a few voicemail messages as my character Anita.

“People seem genuinely excited about the themes and where the characters are going.”

Humans, which follows living robots known as synths, is returning for a second series tonight. Gemma added: “The show goes into quite dark territory, which I love.

“There are some great new characters and the way in which the writers have explored morality and how we learn right from wrong is exciting.

“In series one, the viewers might have come to sympathise with the synth characters, but this year there are some more ambiguous synths.”

Humans is back tonight at 9pm on Channel 4. EXCLUSIVE ISOBEL DICKINSON AS the NFL invades Wembley this weekend, a Brit babe is making waves in American Football across the pond.

Sexy Holly Warden is living the dream as Britain’s only cheerleader for one of the biggest Gridiron teams.

Holly, 25, made sporting history earlier this year when she joined the Miami Dolphins in Florida.

And, a few months in, Holly, who has appeared in James Bond film Spectre, said her job is a dream come true.

The brunette swapped sleepy Somerset for the US and now rubs shoulders with athletes and celebs as well as soaking up the sun on the beach on her days off.

She said: “It’s crazy, I still don’t believe this is my life.

“I don’t think it’s actually hit me yet that I’m representing Britain out here. I feel honoured and very proud.

“Being out on the field on game day is incredible.

“The nerves and excitement kick in and it’s a huge rush to step out there and see all the fans.

“Miami is like another world. I love the sun, the mix of cultures and the Latin vibes.

“Things are just a lot more fast-paced, it couldn’t be any more different than back home.”

And Holly said she loves wearing the Dolphin’s risqué uniform.

She added: “I always loved dressing up as a kid – I think there’s an old photo of me in a nurse’s uniform somewhere!

“I adore my Dolphins uniform,” she says, proudly revealing it for an exclusive photoshoot with Daily Star Sunday.

But despite having had her job for a few months, Holly said she still gets nervous.

She added: “I get really excited and nervous, stepping on to the field on that first home game was crazy.

“It’s incredible to be out there dancing with all the girls I’ve been training hard with for the last two months.

“We’re really a team, everyone helps each other.”

Today the third London NFL clash of the season kicks off at Wembley as the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Washington Redskins.
