Brit fury at biopic
BRITNEY Spears is livid over a new movie about her life that shows her having a massive meltdown.
Pals say she is upset about scenes that recreate her infamous 2007 umbrella attack on photographers after she shaved her head. Brit, 35, played by Australian actress Natasha Bassett in the made-for-TV biopic Britney Ever After, described the drug and booze-fuelled tantrum as “the lowest point in my life”.
A close friend said: “She is mortified that her worst moment is being dredged up again in front of millions of fans.” The film, shown in the US last night, also features her teenage romance with Justin Timberlake and custody battle over her two children with her ex Kevin Federline.
Britney is furious she was “barely consulted” about the “brutally raw” biopic, and her friend added: “Fans can make of it what they will, but she won’t be watching.”
