WALES BOSS HAS HAD HIS FILL OF NAPPIES ‘Poo-tiful’ game is a Cole lot harder

Charl’s American dreams

-

CHARLOTTE Jackson is the hot tip to be the next Brit to make it big on US TV.

She is known for her presenting skills but we can reveal she is now carving out a career as an actress.

In recent weeks the Sky Sports favourite and mum has been jetting back and forth to the US to meet with bosses at major networks. She told us: “I’ve been going to auditions and it’s really exciting.

“I got down to the last two of an acting job last week but annoyingly I didn’t get it. It was for a new comedy ED GLEAVE and I was really hoping it would work out. But I won’t give up.” Charlotte, 38, will head across the pond again next month for more meetings.

Her dream is to be as big as stars like Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence.

She said: “My ultimate dream is to do jobs that I enjoy. It’s not even about the pay. “Jennifer is an amazing actress – I look up to her. She does brilliant dramas as well as comedies.”

Appearing on shows like 71 Degrees North and Splash! has made Charlotte a favourite with telly fans. But she’s determined to do acting as well.

Charlotte added: “I used to do a lot of acting years ago before I got into presenting.

“I’m going to keep going. I’d still love to make it. I’m keen to do both TV and films.” FOOTBALL boss Chris Coleman reckons “exploding nappies” make having kids tougher than managing players. The Wales manager and wife Charlotte Jackson have their hands full with twoyear-old Finlay plus daughter Indie, born last August. Coleman, 46, was already dad to Sonny, Christy, Faraday and Georgie from a previous marriage but he still finds it a struggle. He told the Daily Star Sunday: “Bringing up kids is way harder than managing a football team. “None of my players wake up at 2am and want me to put a bottle of milk in their mouth. It’s much easier coming to work.” Sky Sports News babe Charlotte added: “When Indie was born our son kept knocking her with his elbow, which wasn’t great. “Now he has realised she’s here to stay so he’s being a bit nicer. “They’ r e ED GLEAVE both at that stage where they’ve started entertaining each other. Give it a year and they’ll be playing…hopefully!”

Coleman took Wales into their first major tournament for 58 years at Euro 16 in France.

The team’s success inspired the documentary Don’t Take Me Home, now out in cinemas.

But it was nothing compared to all the nappies Coleman has to contend with at home.

He said: “I’ve got six children now so I’ve been there before when it comes to the nappies.

“I feel sorry for Charlotte a lot of the time because I have to leave her to it. It’s definitely harder for the mothers who stay at home.”

Charlotte added: “It’s good but it is quite hard work. I’m quite lucky my husband is an international manager so he’s home a lot.”

Chris and Charlotte are ready to stop having kids.

She said: “I think that’s probably it for us. I’ve got four stepchildren and we have two together, so that’s six. We have more than enough for a five-a-side team.”

Her husband is now determined for Wales to have success at next year’s World Cup.

He said: “We proved at the Euros that anything is possible. We played against some of the best teams in the world and performed well against them.” Pee-ter Schmeichel John Terry-Towelling Danny Shittu Kieran Bibs Paul Pongba Smelly Alli Babe-eto Jamie Red-nappy Francesco Potty Lionel Messy Romelo Lua-kaka Assistant managers: Poop Guardiola, Jurgen Plop
