TONY STENSON football as we saw last season, when we were going for second place and ended up not getting it.

“Anything can change so we must keep believing and if we can narrow the gap maybe some pressure can build.

“It is down to us to finish as high as we can and win every game from here.”

It will be a case of friends reunited for Davies (right) today as he comes up against Wales team-mate Ashley Williams, now in the Everton back four.

The defensive duo played starring roles in the Red Dragons’ heroic march to the semi-finals of Euro 2016.

Don’t Take Me Home, the film based on Wales’ performance in the summer, has hit the cinemas recently.

And after seeing it Davies said: “It was something we never expected but after the summer we had it was nice to all meet up again.

“The film was superb. To get the feeling back was amazing, just to relive some

amazing memories we had but it was more about putting a line under it, that it was the final moment for us to focus on it. “Now it is about showing that it wasn’t just a one-time thing. We need to focus and put it behind us. “You take away unbelievable memories from it but it is not something you can focus on, it is all about Spurs when you get back.” Now, Davies’ focus is on Lukaku and Everton. The former Swansea man added: “It will be a tough game. “Har r y will be up against my old mate Ash. “I’ve played with him for years, he is a top defender – for him his first job is defending, none of this playing out from the back nonsense, as he calls it. “It is going to be a tough game for Harry but I can see him doing it against any defender so Ash is in for a game. “They are both top players and have played against each other that many times that they’ll know what they are up against. Hopefully Harry can come out on top for us.”
