Alfie and Kat’s star treatment
EASTENDERS bosses have filmed a special scene that will reference the start of Kat and Alfie’s eagerly awaited spin-off series.
The six-part thriller, called Kat & Alfie: Redwater, will be screened on BBC One next month.
It follows the couple as they go in search of Kat’s long-lost son as she actually gave birth to twins when she had daughter Zoe.
Set in the fictional fishing village of Redwater, actors Jessie Wallace, 45, and Shane Richie, 53, filmed the drama in Ireland last year.
Produced by former EastEnders boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins, their hunt will reveal a number of terrible lies and secrets involving two families living in Redwater.
And as fans gear up for the show, the pair will be given a mention in a special Albert Square scene involving Kat’s cousin Stacey Fowler, played by actress Lacey Turner, 29, during the episode before it airs.
An EastEnders source said: “Stacey receives a postcard with a picture of Redwater on the front and is surprised to read that it’s from Kat and Alfie.
“The special scene will be slotted into the episode just before Redwater premieres on BBC One.”
Kat & Alfie: Redwater is on BBC One at 8pm on Thursday, May 18. A SEX tape featuring former England goalkeeper David James has been posted on the internet.
The explicit footage was uploaded to a string of porn websites.
In the 10-minute clip the former Liverpool player is seen pleasuring himself while making a video call on Skype.
It’s thought he is the latest big name to fall victim to “catfishing” in which people are persuaded to indulge in webcam sex while being secretly recorded.
It is not known who uploaded the footage but by last night it had been viewed more than 2,000 times. James, 46, has in EXCLUSIVE ED GLEAVE the past modelled for H&M and Giorgio Armani.
On one adult site, a viewer commented: “David James is about to hit 47 and he’s still got it.”
They added: “This tall handsome man and occasional model might be retired from professional activity but he’s having a comeback of sorts…”
James appears to be the latest star to fall victim to Celebrity Busted, who specialise in leaking sex tapes of the rich and famous.
It is not known when the footage was recorded. In January, a wave of leaks left a number of male stars fearing they could be the next to be exposed.
In catfishing, famous names are approached on social media by attractive women or men using fake profiles.
They talk their victims into taking part in raunchy video calls and then record the footage.
Boxer Amir Khan, Coronation Street star Shayne Ward, rugby hunk Ben Cohen and Olympics hero Louis Smith have all been taken in.
Reality TV hunks Sam Callahan, Kirk Norcross and Calum Best were also targeted.
David James was declared bankrupt in 2014 despite earning an estimated £20million during his football career. He played for top clubs including West Ham, Aston Villa and Manchester City.
Following his divorce from wife Tanya in 2005 he struggled with mounting debts.
After being made bankrupt he sold hundreds of items in an attempt to get his life back on track.
They included signed shirts, match balls plus a customised Vauxhall Astra car and Rayleigh Chopper bikes.
James played for his country 53 times including at the Euro championships and the World Cup.
He has gone on to work as a pundit for BT Sport.
