Claudio on target for home win

Rio’s racy Essex girl just Wright for Big Brother house

-

THE sale of ex-Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri’s home looks unlikely to go into extra time.

Estate agents selling the plush pad said the property had sparked huge interest around the world.

The £695,000 four-bed detached house is on the market after Ranieri was sacked by Leicester nine months after leading them to the Premier League title.

Charles Beretta, director of James Sellicks estate agents, said: “The whole thing has gone viral.

“The response has been phenomenal.”

Ranieri’s house, which boasts three bathrooms and three reception rooms, is in the smart Stoneygate area of the city.

Mr Beretta, a Foxes fan who sold the former manager the property, said the Italian had enjoyed his time living in the city.

He added: “I remember when he was looking for a house in Leicester.

“We were waiting for the keys to a penthouse apartment in the city and no-one recognised him.

“I don’t think you could do that now – he would get mobbed. He loves Leicester and we love him.” BENIDORM police were last night investigating the death of a British woman who plunged from a tenth floor balcony.

The 28-year-old died yesterday at about 8am local time.

A police spokesman said: “We are still investigating whether she was on holiday or lived in Benidorm.” KATE Wright is in “finalstage talks” with CBB bosses about taking part in the C5 show.

Bosses had made an earlier offer to her former TOWIE co-star Danielle Armstrong to participate in this summer’s series, but Kate’s new romance with soccer legend Rio Ferdinand has made her the channel’s top choice. The blonde, 25, has just quit the show about Essex life after a three-year stint. Our insider told us: “It’s not the first time Kate has met with producers on CBB, but after she was pictured with Rio last week, bosses on the show made her an immediate offer of £70,000 to take part in the next series.

“They know she is worth the money – she’s sexy and her relationship with Rio ticks all the boxes!” Former England player Rio was seen leaving Kate’s house last week. However, he has refused to discuss his new romance by declaring there is “no right time” to move on following the death of wife Rebecca in 2015. The dad-of-three explained he wants to protect his children and vowed never to speak about his relationships. If a deal is struck, Kate would be the latest in a long line of TOWIE stars to take part in the show.

Lauren Goodger, Sam Faiers and Amy Childs have all swapped Brentwood for a month in the BB house.

The upcoming series of the reality show is expected to feature new faces alongside previous BB contestants in what has been dubbed the “Summer of Legends”. Our insider told us: “The format of the show is still being discussed, but contact has been made with Charlotte Crosby and Stephen Bear who would appear as a couple.”

Faryal Makhdoom, the wife of boxing star Amir Khan, has revealed she has been approached to appear. FARYAL: I’M STANDING BY
