REDKNAPPS DENY ‘SPLIT’ RUMOURS
JAMIE and Louise Redknapp headed out on the town together – despite rumours their 18-year marriage is on the rocks.
The former footballer-turnedpundit and his glamorous wife were pictured leaving a restaurant in central London on Friday night.
Just hours later reports claimed that their marriage had succumbed to the famous “Strictly Curse”. Jamie, 43, and Louise, 42, were said to be fighting to save their relationship following her stint on the BBC One dance show.
The couple denied the claims, and said separation rumours were completely false. They were both still SUSAN HILL wearing their wedding rings as they were spotted dining out at Zuma in London’s posh Knightsbridge. An onlooker said: “They both seemed in good spirits even though they must have known that reports about the state of their marriage were about to break.
“Louise looked stunning as she dressed down in a pair of ripped jeans and high heeled boots.
“She couldn’t stop smiling as they left the restaurant and looked at Jamie adoringly as he drove them away.” The couple, who have two children – Charley, 12, and eight-year-old Beau – are expected to attend a big family party today to mark the 70th birthday of Jamie’s mum Sandra.
The celebration is being held at his football boss dad Harry’s mansion in Sandbanks, Dorset.
But last night a source close to the couple told the Daily Star Sunday that Louise has been spending nights out with her Strictly co-star Daisy Lowe, 28. The pair, who both took part in the Strictly tour, have become inseparable since meeting on the show.
Our source said: “Louise has been going out more than she has done in years.
“She hit it off with Daisy straight away and they’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since.
“Daisy has opened up a new social world for Louise and she’s loving it. They partied quite a lot while they were on the tour and Jamie just thought it was all part of her Strictly experience. “But since she returned home she’s still been spending nights out with Daisy.”
They added: “It’s OK for Daisy as she doesn’t have any children and is at a completely different stage of her life.
“When Louise returned home after the tour it was like she was a different person.
“Something has changed in her.”
