PAIR NO LONGER SPEAK AFTER ROW

ONE Direction star Niall Horan has broken all ties with his only brother after years of bitter fighting.

The Irish multi-millionaire has cut all communication with older brother Greg, who is believed to be jobless.

Famous Niall was best man at his brother’s wedding and is also godfather to his son Theo, three.

Their relationship is said to have been strained ever since Niall, 23, found fame with One Direction.

And it has been claimed their relationship has soured so much over recent months that they are no longer on speaking terms.

A close family source claimed: “Greg has been jealous since Niall’s first X Factor audition and always believed he was the star of the family.

“He can’t handle living in someone else’s shadow and is now looking for an agent to try make a name for himself away from his brother.”

Greg, who has 1.7million Twitter followers and lists himself as an “influencer marketer”, has started reaching out to luxury brands in the hope of securing lucrative sponsored posts across social media.

The source added Greg’s aim is “to reach a point where people will know who he is without having to include a picture of Niall on his profile”.

Despite being best man at Greg’s wedding to Denise Kelly in 2013, things fell apart for the brothers shortly after.

Niall has enjoyed four No.1 albums and four No.1 singles with 1D, touring the world and making an estimated £50million fortune.

Since their split, he has released debut solo single This Town and is expected to release his debut album later this year. Meanwhile, Greg worked as a sales assistant in their home town of Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, despite asking Niall for a job on his security team.

Our source said: “Greg’s skint and recently lost his job.

“He has reached out to Niall for help several times but heard nothing back.”

There was concern for Greg in January after tweets including “I wish I was dead”, and “I’ve been rejected by Niall since November 2010” were sent from his account.

The messages were later deleted and Greg claimed he had been hacked.

Niall and Greg are not the only brothers to fall out over fame.

Oasis bros Liam and Noel Gallagher constantly fight, while Olly Murs’ twin brother Ben has been estranged from his family ever since Olly missed his wedding to appear on The X Factor.
