THIS is the moment Amy Barlow learns the real reason her mum has whisked her off to a cottage in the middle of the Peak District.

Tracy has been hiding her ex-fiancé Rob Donovan, who has escaped from prison, right under the teenager’s nose at the remote bolthole.

So when she storms in to find the twisted killer – who bludgeoned barmaid Tina McIntyre to death – sat at the kitchen table, all hell breaks loose.

Amy walks in to hear Rob urging Tracy to tell her daughter everything.

To make matters worse for the trio, Amy’s dad Steve McDonald reports the pair missing, which leads to an appeal going out on local television.

Rob’s mate spots the telly plea and tells him he needs to ditch Tracy and Amy if he’s got any chance of staying out of prison.

A Corrie insider said: “Amy is unimpressed with the cottage. She doesn’t understand why her mum would take her out of school to bring her somewhere so boring. “So when she discovers Rob is staying with them, she can’t believe it. “Tracy tries her best to explain her actions but the teenager is furious. “She has no idea that her dad is frantic with worry and that there’s a missing persons appeal for their safe return. “Tracy assures Rob she loves him and is in it for the long haul – even if it means running for the rest of their lives. “Everyone will have to wait to see whether Rob takes his mate’s advice and ditches Tracy.” ITV viewers can watch all the drama as Amy discovers that her mum is helping Rob this Friday.
