R-Patz in doghouse over joke

-

HOLLYWOOD star Robert Pattinson says he was joking when he claimed he was asked to pleasure a dog in his new movie.

R-Patz sparked a backlash after telling US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel about a scene in Good Time.

“There’s one scene where a drug dealer bursts into the room and I was sleeping with the dog and basically giving the dog a hand job,” the Brit actor had said.

Pattinson, 31, claimed one of the directors told him to “just do it for real, man” but he refused and a fake dog penis was used.

But now the former Twilight star says he was not being serious.

He explained: “The story seems to have spiralled out of control.

“What didn’t come across is that this was supposed to be a joke.

“We are all huge animal lovers and would obviously never do anything to harm an animal.”

In the film, Pattinson plays a New York criminal fighting to save his brother over the course of one night.

The movie is directed by brothers Benny and Josh Safdie, who tweeted: “LOL this is NOT true.” BOOKIES have cut the odds on Facebook supremo Mark Zuckerberg becoming the next US presdient.

He was slashed to 16/1 after hinting he may take a crack at politics.

Former wrestling star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is also at 16/1 while Donald Trump remains the clear favourite at 2/1.
