IT’S five years since Girls ★

Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh released her one and only solo album – but another could finally be on the way.

Kimberley kicks off a week-long London residency tomorrow with songs from her fave musicals and a few Girls Aloud numbers.

And despite being “terrified” about going it alone again it’s got her creative juices flowing.

Kimberley said: “I’m a mum of two young kids so can’t dedicate the time to another West End show or album right now but I wanted to dip my toe back in.

“I would love to do more

musicals and I’m positive another album will come when the time is right.”

Kimberley is currently starring in the second series of Channel 4’s Ackley Bridge.

She added: “It has an amazing cast and I would love to go back.” Asked about her

COMEBACK

Thirty five years after its very first release in 1983, the albums have featured more than

2,000 artists and amassed UK sales of over

100million.

To celebrate, NOW100 features two discs featuring the biggest tunes of the moment and the best over the years. NOW1 has also been re-issued on CD, cassette and vinyl.
