Tina fears after son’s sad death
FEARS are growing for rock legend Tina Turner following the suicide of her eldest son.
The Simply The Best singer, 78, is said to be “completely overwhelmed” by the tragedy.
One friend claimed: “The grief is too much for her. She is barely eating or sleeping.”
Estate agent Craig Turner, 59, died from a gunshot wound at his home in the Los Angeles suburb of Studio City this month.
Neighbours said he was a loner who looked “sickly” in his final days.
He was born before Tina’s troubled marriage to musician Ike Turner. His father, Raymond Hill, was a saxophonist in Ike’s band.
Tina’s friend said: “She always had a special fondness for him because he represented a more innocent time in her own life.”
Tina, whose other biological son Ronnie, 57, suffers from dementia and has a history of drug abuse, spends most of her time at her mansion in Zurich, Switzerland.
In 2014, the eight-time Grammy winner reportedly suffered a heart attack and has rarely been seen in public since.
Her friend said: “She is not bed-ridden or in extreme physical pain. But she is an emotional wreck and looks very weak.”
