CHINA could be back on the itinerary for Man United next summer to play a series of highly lucrative friendly matches.

The Red Devils are in the United States again this summer after Jose Mourinho’s squad flew out to Los Angeles this week.

Mourinho was not impressed when the club were based in China back in the summer of 2016, complaining about the state of some of the pitches.

A derby match in Beijing against rivals Manchester City was called off just hours beforehand due to a thunderstorm, with Mourinho also citing the intense humidity during the summer months.

United, however, know their huge fanbase and commercial partners in the Far East want them to consider returning next year.
