Tatt’s nice from Sean

-

LEGEND: Our man Tony covering his final Open at Carnoustie this week SEAN CROCKER’S dad Gary will be talking to his son again after the round of his life left the Zimbabwe-born golfer on two under for the tournament.

Crocker senior was not happy that his son, now living in West Palm Beach, paid for two tattoos which did not go down well with the family.

“I don’t think he talked to me for the first two weeks – and the first two tattoos were of my mum and dad,” said Crocker. “I kind of always had a likeness for tattoos.

“But I showed my mum and she kind of laughed.”

But there would have been plenty to chat about after Crocker’s well-earned round of 69, with dad Gary setting him on the road to Open glory after buying his boy his first plastic club at the age of just two. STEVE MILLAR
