‘Bradley was found hanged in the school toilets’

BRADLEY John killed himself in the school toilets after being bullied mercilessly for “months on end”.

The 14-year-old of Carmarthenshire was found by his sister, Danielle, on September 13 after she became worried when he failed to show up for a lesson.

Dad Byron said his son had ADHD, which made him a “magnet” for school bullies.

He said: “He took things to heart. It was part of his fabric. He wanted everyone to love him.”

His parents arranged for Bradley to switch schools, but the torment continued.

Byron added: “When people were nasty to him, he just didn’t understand that.”

He was called by the school when Bradley was found. He said: “The paramedics and doctors were just incredible.

“They really tried to save him but we had lost him. He was gone.

“It is the most horrible thing. Any child being bullied needs to speak out. We need to recognise it and start acting sooner. Kids need to be taught to be kind.”

An inquest into Bradley’s death was adjourned last week.
