GAZ IS SO HYPE-D UP

Fortnite fan learns his fate MIAMI MAKE AMEND

- ■ NFL

GARETH O’BRIEN has nerves of steel when it comes to pressure kicks in do-or-die games.

But even the full-back admits he’ll hide himself away while his fate is decided this afternoon.

O’Brien and Toronto Wolfpack will clinch a remarkable promotion to Super League if Hull KR fail to beat Widnes by 13 points or more today.

But if Rovers dish out the expected thumping of relegated Vikings then the Canadian outfit will have to play a Million Pound Game showdown with London on Sunday – with a place in the topflight up for grabs.

Given the stakes, many Toronto players may be keenly following score updates from Hull KR as the action unfolds.

But O’Brien plans to stay home and play Fortnite – the computer game which sparked the ‘Hype’ dance phenomenon.

O’Brien, whose late drop-goal helped Toronto beat defending champions Leeds 17-16 on Friday, said: “I will do my own thing on Sunday.

“I will maybe play a bit of Fortnite and will get a text. But if we have to go via the Million Pound Game then that is what we will do.”

An all-or-nothing game will hold no fears for O’Brien, 26, after his heroics for Salford in that dramatic match two years ago.

He saved the Red Devils’ skins with a 50-metre drop-goal during golden point extra-time, dooming Hull KR to relegation instead. Now DANNY AMENDOLA says he and the Miami Dolphins are hungry for success after an unbeaten start to the season.

The Dolphins lead the AFC East at 3-0, well clear of the other three teams in the division who are all 1-2.

And with a trip to New England tonight, Amendola and Co can lay down a real marker for the season. The former Patriot, who HE’S ON THE BALL: But O’Brien will avoid today’s game left Bill Belichick’s dynasty in the summer, said: “I’ve had a lot of experience playing there, I’m excited to get back up there.

“I play with a lot of emotion every game.

“We’re all hungry. We all want to make plays to help this team win. It’s why we’re here.”
