HALLOWEEN GHOST TORY BoJo mask a hit with fright night revellers

- ■ EXCLUSIVE by ISOBEL DICKINSON

CREEPY Boris Johnson masks are set to be a hit at Halloween.

Makers Rubber Plantation have added the Tory MP to their line up.

They said the politician’s “recent mishaps” were behind the move, and expect it to be a best-seller.

The Boris masks, which cost £24.99, are made from thick latex and come complete with shaggy yellow hair – just like the MP’s trademark blond locks.

Meanwhile, Halloween revellers who fancy dressing up as his political rival Corbyn will be able to sport a Jezza mask featuring his familiar trimmed grey beard.

A Rubber Plantation spokesman said: “Halloween sales are yet to kick in but we predict they will be the most popular.

“We have had these designs made with the political climate very much the topic on everyone’s lips for the previous months and foreseeable future.” Other masks the company predicts will be popular this year include the Queen, Harry and Meghan, and dictator Kim Jong-un.

Fancy dress firm Party Costume is also selling Boris masks online, for £8.49. while Bristolbased Chaplins have BoJo wigs.

Dave Gaze, who runs Chaplins, said: “Boris is a consistent seller and recently has been going a bomb.”

Last year Theresa May and Donald Trump were the most popular choice for Halloween –

with costumes, masks and wigs selling out. Boris’ Halloween popularity follows a turbulent year for the politician.

In September he was booted out by long-suffering wife Marina Wheeler after being accused of cheating on her again. He resigned as Foreign Secretary in July after disagreeing with Theresa May’s policies.

Last month Boris accused Corbyn of using “weaselly language” and “failing to condemn” Russia for the Salisbury poisonings.
