100% FOOTBALL ACTION, Given them Wat-four

BUT WILSON WANTED MORE

- By MICHAEL DEAN

CALLUM WILSON scored the fourth as Bournemouth put Watford to the sword yesterday and then said Eddie Howe’s Cherries were DISAPPOINTED!

David Brooks and a Josh King double in the first half put the visitors in control and Wilson tapped home just two minutes into the second half as Howe’s men continued their hugely impressive start to the season.

They are up to fifth in the table and ahead of Unai Emery’s Arsenal while Watford are now winless in four.

Wilson said: “By our high standards that we set we can be disappointed it isn’t more.

“We could have been more clinical. But that gives more to work on. It is a big positive to win like this away from home.”

The hosts never really recovered from Christian Kabasele’s sending off for bringing down King for a penalty, which the striker slotted home to make it 2-0.

Howe said: “With the atmosphere it could have been easy for us to lose control and make the numbers on the pitch level again. To keep the discipline like we did is very, very important.

“It’s a great result for us and we’re delighted with that.

“Wins obviously give you the confidence and belief you need to win really difficult games in the Premier League.

“There’s tough games to come, we need those mental qualities showed today to push on and get more results.

“Nothing is a given in this league, we will enjoy where we are but we have to maximise this period.”
