Mark Feehily, Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan have just announced their 20th anniversary reunion tour without Brian, who quit back in 2004.

But Boyzone, who have just revealed their own retirement tour, blasted the decision.

Band member told me: “I think it is a big shame Brian hasn’t been included. Think back to when

went back to or

to the huge thing.

“You have to grow up, have an open mind and move on. It would have been very respectful to have him back.

“I’m sure the fans would have loved it, even if it was just a one-off for the tour. It doesn’t have to be forever.”

Brian released four multi-millionselling albums with Westlife before quitting to go solo.

The other four members carried on without him until 2012 before calling it a day. Over the years numerous It was such a people, including

and Brian himself, have expressed hopes of the original five members reuniting, to no avail.

Shane recently said: “Westlife, to us four, is the four members who started and finished the band together. That doesn’t include Brian.”

But Keith’s Boyzone bandmates also believe Westlife are making a mistake by leaving Brian out in the cold. told me: “You have to always look after your own.” While lead singer added: “It always feels a shame not to have the original line-up whenever possible.”

While Westlife are reforming, Boyzone recently announced that their last ever album Thank You & Goodnight will be released on November 16.

They will then head out on a farewell arena tour in January. Tickets are on sale now.

Ronan added: “There’s never a right time to go out but this feels as close as we are going

to get.”
