CHARITY DANCE RESULT IS LEAKED ONLINE

A PARTY pooper leaked the result of Strictly’s charity Children In Need special.

The show was pre-recorded ahead of this Friday’s annual telethon.

On last Saturday’s Strictly, host Tess Daly said the special would feature members of Boyzone.

But just moments later a fansite revealed the winner.

The information has since been posted on social media – spoiling the fun for viewers.

Bosses now fear fewer fans will tune in on Friday.

A show insider said: “The special edition of Strictly is recorded so more people tune in to watch Children In Need.

The whole point of it is to encourage people to donate money for vital causes.

“It’s not in the spirit of things to leak the result and reduce interest in the show. Once people know who wins they’re less likely to watch and that isn’t good for Children In Need.

“The site should have considered this before posting.” The site leaks the results of all Strictly results shows that are pre-recorded. It is run by fan Dave Thorpe, who says he is doing nothing wrong.

But he has been accused of ruining the fun.

Celeb contestant Graeme Swann last night blasted the site for “spoiling the party”. Boyzone’s four singers are each paired with a pro dancer for the special, which sees the return of Katya Jones. She sparked controversy when she was caught snogging her dance partner Seann Walsh. Now fans will see her perform with married Mikey Graham. Meanwhile, Ronan Keating is with Gordana Grandosek, Keith Duffy is with Nadiya Bychkova and Shane Lynch is with Luba Mushtuk. Children In Need starts at 7.30pm on Friday on BBC One.
