Draco to wacko for Potter’s Tom

Actor Tom Felton is known to fans as the bullying schoolboy in the Harry Potter films.

But he is looking far from fresh-faced in his latest role as drug dealer Logan in new sci-fi series Origin.

This sneak peek shows him looking dishevelled and with a black eye.

And his famous blond locks are long gone.

Tom has warned fans his new character is even worse than Draco.

He said: “One was a wizard with crap parents, the other one is a petty drug dealer from California.

“He’s not the friendliest person in the world, we could say that.”

Origin stars talent from around the globe, including Sen Mitsuji from Australia and Nora Arnezeder from France, as the casting team wanted to give the show worldwide appeal. Tom said: “You see each character’s previous story, and largely speaking it’s in a different language, different setting, cultural background, really. “I’ve never seen a show do that before, so I’m very excited to see how that lands for audiences.”

The producers worked on Lost and The Crown and it will be streaming on YouTube Premium from Wednesday.
