4x4 not taxed or tested

HARD-UP Katie Price has splashed out on a Barbiestyle wrap for her jeep – despite it having no insurance, tax or MoT.

The model, who is facing bankruptcy charges, booked her Suzuki into a garage for a garish pink makeover.

But she could face a fine or have it seized by police after records showed it should not be on the road.

The MoT ran out on October 11, the tax expired on November 1, and Katie is not insured to drive it.

As the vehicle’s registered keeper, the mum-of-five could be fined £180 for not taxing the car and thousands more if she drives without insurance.

She could also be fined up to £1,000 for not having a valid MoT.

Katie, 40, had the Barbie makeover done at wrap company Valet Magic in Surrey.

The firm posted a snap of her transformed car on Instagram, along with a matching Barbie key ring. A caption read: “When your asked to build a Barbie jeep by @officialkatieprice. Was a laugh delivering it.”

The jeep is in hot pink along with flowers and the Barbie logo.

Her new buy came after she had yet another run-in with police last week. Katie allegedly refused to get out of her vehicle when officers asked her.

They mistakenly believed she was still banned, and she was allowed to drive on when they realised their blunder.

Earlier this year Katie was quizzed by cops after admitting to driving without a licence.

She was banned for six months on February 9 for speeding, keeping her off the road until August 8.

But the Loose Women star confessed she had got back behind the wheel, and said she had reported herself to police.

Katie is preparing for yet another court hearing in the coming weeks to decide whether she will have to pay debts estimated to range from £250,000 to £500,000.

It was claimed she shut down her fashion business KP Boutique after it made just £13 in profit.

Official papers confirm that Katie has applied to have the business closed within the next few days.

Just last week it was reported she had staved off bankruptcy for another month. But she could be made homeless at a court hearing in December. BARBIE GIRL: Katie and son Harvey get in jeep after its garish pink makeover
