STEPH Davis is set to front a show about booze addiction.

The Hollyoaks actress, 25, has previously been left on the brink of suicide by alcoholism.

Now she wants to help others who are battling the disease.

Steph said: “I’ve received so many messages and I reply to as many as possible. One girl was suicidal but then completely turned her life around and entered rehab. She said ‘this is all down to you’.

“I’m in talks to do my own TV ED GLEAVE

documentary about addiction in young people. I want to help because the disease takes lives.

“If my pain has helped other people then it’s all worth it.”

Steph’s life was left in tatters because of her boozing.

In 2015 she lost her job on Hollyoaks amid rumours she was drunk on set.

She said: “Looking back, I wasn’t in a good place. I just walked out. My head kind of fell off. My grandad has cancer and was very poorly. And I lost my beloved nan the year before and wasn’t coping very well.

“I thought in my head I needed a break. But now I know I had a serious problem and all I wanted to do was block everything out.

“It was such a relief when someone sat me down and told me what was wrong.”

After a spell in rehab, Steph is off booze and back on Hollyoaks as minx Sinead.
