BATEMAN OUT TO MAKE

NO LET UP: Bateman JOHN is demanding England show no mercy in the final Test against New Zealand today.

Red-hot England will complete a 3-0 series whitewash if they beat the Kiwis at Elland Road.

And Bateman believes that will send out a message to the rest of the world that England are now a super power to the feared.

He said: “Three, four years ago people always wrote us off and said England weren’t really good enough – but we are now.”

The forward, 25, also admits it will help him start his new career in the NRL in Australia with a few verbals at the ready.

The Kangaroos are world champions, after beating England in last year’s World Cup Final, and are notorious for their bragging ability.

But Bateman said: “I want to go to Oz on the back of a 3-0 win. I will be able to give them a bit back when I go over there.”

England won the first Test in Hull by two points and the second Test in Liverpool by six and Bateman expects today’s clash to be just as close. He said: “Winning last week
