Burnley boss Sean Dyche (below) admitted he’d been taken aback by the enormity of feeling around the city after taking the decision to travel to Leicester on Friday night.

He travelled down with keeper Tom Heaton and skipper Ben Mee to pay their respects.

Dyche said: “We got here early. The amount of Leicester stuff around the place just took me by surprise. “When you are there and you see it, it’s incredible. We just came down to show a bit of respect, under the radar but we didn’t want to bring the whole team down.

“We went to the site where all the flowers and scarves are and had a moment there.

“I was at the game when the tragedy happened but had left early and heard the story afterwards.” MATCH REPORT: See RESULT! P4-5
