It’s Juan hell of an upgrade

DELI ALLI last night paid tribute to Juan Foyth after the Spurs defender scored the winner against Crystal Palace.

That came after last weekend’s horror show for the Argentine, who conceded two penalties as Mauricio Pochetttino’s men almost let a threegoal lead slip at Wolves. But Foyth (left) was on target at the right end last night and Alli said: “You need to have a back four who are in top form and that’s exactly what we’ve got.

“Juan deserves a lot of credit. It says a lot about his character after conceding those two penalties at Wolves.

“He works hard every day in training and he’s come in today and got the winner.

“Everyone’s fighting for their place here. Everyone’s ready to come in and perform.”

Foyth said: “I think the two penalties I conceded, I have to learn from. I’ve worked in training but these two penalties helped me with experience.” MATCH REPORT: See RESULT! P2-3
