Air con ban as Meg strikes blow for baby
PREGNANT Meghan Markle has declared war on germs.
Prince Harry’s wife, who is almost five months pregnant, has always favoured a healthy diet and lifestyle.
But now the 37-year-old American is expecting, her focus on wellbeing has gone into overdrive.
A source close to Meghan told the Daily Star Sunday she is even trying to avoid areas with air con to dodge germs. The insider said: “Obviously Meg has always been about the holistic, organic life. She’s now keener than ever on that.
“She loves ‘live’ bacteria yoghurts to promote gut health and is only eating veg and fruit from organic farms.
“She’ll walk right away from anyone smoking and she’s keeping herself as germ free as possible. So anywhere with air con is a no.”
Harry used to smoke but he was persuaded to quit by Meghan ahead of their wedding.
The former Suits star has maintained her dedication to performing yoga despite her growing bump.
During the royal newlyweds’ tour of Australia she got up at 4.30am to practise her usual flex-and-bend routine.
The source added: “Meg’s said she wants to let nature lead the way.
“That means all of the yoga will stay part of her schedule, as she’s keen to have as natural a birth as possible – drug free, holistic remedies only and mum Doria on hand for meditation.”
