‘CURSED’ FAYE TURNS OVER A NEW LEAF
FAYE Tozer has poked fun at suggestions she has been hit by the Strictly curse.
The singer, 43, was caught sharing an intimate moment at a lunch date with dance partner Giovanni Pernice, 28.
In photos taken last week he appeared to lovingly feed her food as they celebrated Faye’s birthday.
The snaps sparked rumours she could be falling for the Italian hunk.
But Faye laughed off the claims by filming a jokey video re-enacting the scene.
In it, she poses with a salad leaf hanging from her lips and Giovanni reaches over to brush it off before they both smirk.
The clip was posted online by Giovanni who cheekily added: “No comment !!!”
A Strictly insider last night said: “This shows Fay isn’t fussed about what people might be thinking. She hasn’t publicly denied anything is going on.
“By making fun of the whole thing she’s making it clear there’s nothing to it.”
Faye has been married to IT specialist Michael Smith since 2009.
Michael has also joked about Faye’s bond with Giovanni by posting a snap of himself with food between his lips.
He captioned it: “Where’s Giovanni?”
Last night Faye and Giovanni performed a Paso Doble, right, as the show came live from Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom.
The Strictly curse is said to have already struck twice this series. Seann Walsh was caught snogging dance partner Katya Walsh behind the back of his then-girlfriend. And pro Diane Buswell split from partner Anthony Quinlan amid rumours she’d fallen for blogger Joe Sugg.
Strictly’s curse has been blamed for ruining a string of marriages over the years. Louise Redknapp split from husband Jamie after being on the show.
And Rachel Riley called time on her marriage and later started dating her dance partner Pasha Kovalev.
