The hot seat!

THIS being the end of Road Safety Week, I thought it was only prudent to test the bees-knees of child car safety – the Nuna NORR.

Thing is, with both my kids now in their twenties, I couldn’t get the blighters to fit into this rear-facing Isofix-secured seat so I lent it to a mate with an adorable 18-month-old daughter called Honey. The age range of the NORR is birth to four.

Massive thumbs up, apparently. Not only is Honey now cocooned in sumptuous, all-supporting, reclinable luxury and firmly harnessed safety but she’s fast asleep within the first 50 metres of travel. That’s a parent’s wish list fulfilled right there, isn’t it?

The neat swivel function also makes it a doddle for getting yer bairn in and out.
