Hammer teen trial

A GIRL of 14 found raped and murdered in a park was hit with a hammer-like weapon so hard some of her teeth fell out, a court heard.

A post-mortem found that Viktorija Sokolova, originally from Lithuania, died from a blunt force trauma to the head.

The schoolgirl was found by a passer-by in West Park, Wolverhampton.

A 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denies murder, rape and another sex charge.

Wolverhampton Crown Court heard Viktorija had been in contact with the accused through Facebook before her death.
