A MASHED up Christ­mas din­ner squeezed into an ice cream glass prob­a­bly isn’t about to be­come a fes­tive tra­di­tion.

But we sent re­porter

to take on the bizarre roast tur­key twist on of­fer at TGI Fri­days.

The Christ­mas Din­ner Sun­dae is packed with tur­key, mashed potato, stuff­ing and gravy topped with parsnip crisps.

Luck­ily for din­ers fear­ing a gross ice creamy mess, the meal is still served hot and al­most tastes as it would on the big day…at least with your eyes closed.

The cran­berry sauce ooz­ing from the mash might prove too sweet for some but as a savoury dish in dessert dis­guise it’s worth a spoon or two.

It joins a range of new food and drink on the TGI Fri­days fes­tive menu which runs until Jan­uary 7.
