Sanchez gets cold comfort

- ■ by STEVE BATES

ALEXIS SANCHEZ has come in from the cold at Old Trafford – after complaining about a fridge in Manchester United’s dressing room.

The Chile striker, 29 (below) has found himself frozen out of some games – literally – and was said to have upset team-mates at his former club Arsenal with his attitude.

And his demanding ways seem to have surfaced again at United after a bizarre incident involving a drinks cooler.

It is understood his seat and locker were next to the fridge and each time that it was opened the £450,000-a-week star was hit with a cold draught.

Sanchez is believed to have complained about the cooler which has now been moved. An Old Trafford insider said: “He wasn’t happy that he was forever being hit with cold air when the cooler was opened.

“In a busy dressing room the fridge is used continually and it became an annoyance for him.”

Sanchez is now back in Chile having been allowed to fly home as he recovers from a hamstring injury.
