£26k light show for tech whiz
A TECH fan has spent
£26,000 on a Christmas light show – nearly as much as his house originally cost.
For the last 14 years, tree surgeon Thomas Wheatley,
24, has created displays at his parents’ three-bedroom home in Birmingham, which they bought 30 years ago for £30,000.
Music and lights electronically synced match each other.
Thomas said: “My mum started doing it when I was young. We like that it brings joy to the community, but an added bonus is how it helps raise money for important causes, which is why cost doesn’t matter.” are to
