DESPERATE DEPORTEES

An Afghan who arrived in 1998 spent six years here while their initial application for asylum was refused. In 2016 their new application was granted. An Eritrean first lodged for asylum in 2008 but was deported. They returned and applied for asylum in the UK again, which was granted eight years later. A refugee arrived in the UK in 2013 but their asylum was turned down last year. Next day they were back and lodged a successful bid for asylum.
