Teen sex mum rap

A YOUNG mother who had sex with a 13-year-old boy has walked free from court.

Shauni Balderstone, who was 20 at the time, first got together with the teenager just days before his 14th birthday.

The court heard his parents found out after they checked their son’s phone and found snaps of him with an older woman.

His dad found Facebook messages and texts between them, Burnley Crown Court heard.

Mother-of-two Balderstone, now 21, went on to have sex with him at her home in Padiham, Lancs.

She pleaded guilty to one charge of sexual activity with a child but said they only had sex once.

The boy claimed they slept together on at least four occasions. Balderstone was given a five-month suspended sentence.
