Mac can’t do cheese

ED Sheeran’s go-to collaborator Steve Mac may not have the magic touch after all.

The man behind hits for Little Mix, Olly Murs, Clean Bandit and more, simply can’t write a Christmas tune.

Steve said: “You have to write a Christmas song in the middle of summer and I can’t do that. I’ve tried it for many years and it’s really hard to write a great Christmas song because they keep pulling out the old ones and they are fantastic.

“How are you going to better Slade? Or another one of those songs? It’s really difficult.”
