3 hurt in cafe raid

THREE peo­ple were taken to hos­pi­tal af­ter an armed raid at a cafe.

Three men car­ry­ing a shot­gun, a ma­chete and a base­ball bat threat­ened cus­tomers, who were told to hand over per­sonal be­long­ings and car keys.

The raiders then fled in a white Range Rover be­long­ing to one of the vic­tims, and a white BMW 3 Se­ries.

The three in­jured peo­ple, all in their 20s, were taken to hos­pi­tal. Their in­juries are not thought to be se­ri­ous.

The in­ci­dent hap­pened at about 10.30am yes­ter­day in Princess Road, Moss Side, Manch­ester.

Four men aged 18, 19, 23 and 58, and two males aged 17 have been ar­rested on sus­pi­cion of rob­bery.
