DERMOT: I want ring of steel on gong night after 2018 stage fright RATTLED PRESENTER IN SECURITY DEMAND

-

CASEY Batchelor wants to be the new Mr Motivator.

The former Page Three girl has become a fitness guru after shedding four stone.

And now she is keen to land a spot on breakfast television so she can get the nation into shape.

Casey said: “It would be amazing to do some exercise on TV. There’s nothing out there at the minute that does that.

“I think they should get me on telly. I can do the morning workouts like Jane Fonda used to do. I’ll get everyone doing yoga.

“Everyone could wake up with me first thing in the morning – I’ll get everyone out of bed!”

Casey says yoga and high-intensity exercise helped her to tone up after giving birth to her daughter.

And after training as a yoga instructor, she has launched her own online fitness guide.

Her Yoga Blitz

90 Day Challenge App is already a hit.

And she has been flooded with messages on social media from fans desperate for her weight loss tips.

DERMOT O’Leary has asked for extra-tight security for television’s biggest night.

The awards’ host wants organisers to act after last year’s bash was infiltrated by an intruder.

A protester made it on to the stage at London’s O2 Arena during the show.

Dermot said: “I hope the security will be better this year. I was surprised a stage invasion could even happen.

“He started walking from outside the arena and essentially walked all the way through and on to the stage. He wasn’t dressed in a tux or anything, so I don’t know how it happened.”

The intrusion took place while a pre-recorded video was being shown.

ITV bosses insisted it only caused “a brief interruption” to the live spectacular.

And Dermot refused to let it ruin the night.

He said: “He tried to interrupt Wilnelia Forsyth and I was never going to let that happen. He was the worst stage invader of all time because he came on during the VT.

“I’ve seen that he’s a self-styled intellectual. “But I thought, ‘Well he can’t be that smart – he would have known he wouldn’t be on TV at that moment’. “He did it at Eurovision and managed to get on stage while it was airing.” Dermot will be presenting the NTAs for the tenth time on January 22. Our most popular shows and biggest names will battle over 14 categories including Quiz, Daytime and TV Presenter. Ant McPartlin is set to make a return to the spotlight for the annual bash.

The Geordie and his pal Declan Donnelly are tipped to win the TV Presenter gong for the 18th year in a row. Dermot has already been in rehearsals.

He said: “As long as you’re prepared, then doing TV where anything can happen is fun. “But if you’re not prepped it can be a disaster. So I have to prepare.”
