JOYLESS RIDERS

Spice Girls’ dull tour demands

Daily Star Sunday - - FRONT PAGE - By

THE Spice Girls are demanding one of the dullest riders in showbiz history for their reunion tour.

Former party animals Mel B, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel C have asked for crèches for their children and health food at concert venues.

The middle-aged foursome, who have eight youngsters between them, also want facilities for their babysitters.

Their other requests include salads, fruit, mineral water, honey and lemon drinks, steamed vegetables and lean cuts of meat.

Scented candles and blankets are also among the list of demands.

A music industry insider said: “Gone are the days of the Spice Girls’ rowdy Britpop parties.

“They’re all mums now and will be bringing their young families.

“They are all into healthy living, so there will be no booze or junk food on their riders.

“Instead, it will be focused on drinks for their voices, health food, protein shakes, crèches and babysitting facilities during the shows.”

Mel B, 43, has daughters Angel, 11, Madison, seven, and 19-year-old Phoenix Chi, while 45-year-old Mel C has nineyear-old Scarlet.

Geri, 46, is mum to daughter Bluebell, 12, and son Montague, one. Emma, 42, has sons Tate, seven, and Beau, 11. Our
