PSG EYE UP GUEYE

- By STEVE MILLAR

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN will ask Everton to lower their £40million valuation of Idrissa Gueye before they will do business with the Goodison club.

Reports in France claim PSG would love to sign Gueye, 29, but believe Everton have set their asking price too high for the midfielder.

The Toffees will fight hard to keep him until the January transfer window shuts, with his contract running until 2022.

But they will not rule out a summer move for Gueye with PSG willing to do business – if the price is right.

Everton are looking at targets of their own such as Lyon’s box-to-box midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, who is also attracting interest from Manchester City, United, Tottenham, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Money again, though, is an issue with the French club demanding £75m. ALL EARS: Calvert-Lewin is learning from the best
