£18m or Aaron’s a no-go
ARSENAL have told Juventus it will cost them £18million to sign Aaron Ramsey this month.
The Gunners refuse to let Ramsey (below) leave on the cheap during the transfer window, even though the Wales midfielder, 28, has already agreed to join Juve when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery believes it will leave his squad stretched if he allows him to move without a replacement being brought in.
And with Juventus pushing to recruit Ramsey now to boost their chances of winning an eighth successive Serie A title and the Champions League, the Gunners have slapped a high price on his head.
The Italian giants are reluctant to meet the asking price given they can sign him for nothing in the summer.
Juventus have already agreed a five-year contract with Ramsey that will see him bank £112,000 a week after tax.
They have also loaded the deal with successrelated bonuses.
