Baby changes life for ex glam girl

REALITY star Casey Batchelor has ditched the showbiz lifestyle since becoming a mum.

For years she was a regular at film premieres and parties as one of the country’s top glamour models.

But since welcoming daughter Flo with her fella Dane Goodson, she has shunned VIP invites. Ex-Celebrity Big Brother housemate Casey, 34, said: “My life is completely different. I hardly go out, but I’m so content with it. “I went out a lot in my 20s before I met Dane. Now I’m happy to stay in and get a takeaway, or go for a nice dinner here and there. “You lose touch with a lot of friends, because their lives are different to yours, but luckily a lot of my friends, who I’ve been mates with since I was 20, have got children as well.”

It’s been almost a year since Flo was born. Casey and Dane have talked about adding to their brood. She said: “There are days when we’re like, ‘Flo’s so cute, let’s have more children’. And then there are others when we say, ‘She’s such hard work, we don’t need any more just yet’.

“It just changes all the time, because it’s hard work. Especially now she’s teething – we don’t get much sleep. Now I understand my mum a hell of a lot more.”

The star added: “It’s really hard work, but it’s so rewarding. Florence is my best friend, even though she’s 10 months old.”

Proud Casey shows off baby Flo in a photoshoot in the next issue of New! magazine, which is out on Tuesday.

It will give fans a chance to see how much she is enjoying her new role as a mum.

Casey said: “Flo has got six teeth now. She can crawl backwards, sideto-side and she’s days away from going forward.

“She’s a right little character and she’s clever.”

In between looking after Flo, Casey has been getting into shape.

She lost four stone in a matter of months through a mixture of highintensity exercise and yoga.

The results have helped her launch her own fitness app.
