RUPAUL reckons filming his new drama AJ And The Queen was far more revealing than any of his outfits.
The series, which is available on Netflix, sees him draw on his real-life career as a drag queen.
Ru said: “I feel like I’ve lived my whole life to be able to do this show. It is so fulfilling, but so hard.
“I have been in this business for a long time and this was the most challenging thing I’ve ever done.
“I was afraid of revealing so much of myself and so much of my vulnerability.
“I’m 38 years in this business and there’s a certain protective shell that you develop so that you don’t get yourself hurt.
“People have all this stuff to say on social media. I had to remove that shell and be completely vulnerable, so it was scary.”
RUFUS Sewell was thrown in at the deep end filming Agatha Christie two-parter The Pale Horse. The actor said: “This has been a great experience and quite intense because we had to start with really big scenes.

LAUREN Goodger has criticised the BBC for targeting her in an undercover investigation about celebrity endorsements. The former Towie star was secretly filmed agreeing to promote a fake drink containing cyanide – and then exposed in a BBC Three documentary.
In a chat with new magazine, Lauren said: “I got completely set up by the BBC. They told me they were looking for influencers and celebrities to promote the product and they really sold it to us. “I walked into that meeting and I tried to sell myself. They led me on.
“This meeting went on for two hours and all they managed to scene on your first day, day two is easier than usual because you’re already really blooded.”
