Simon and son on the write path

- By MATTHEW DAVIS

SIMON Cowell and his son are preparing to sell their own children’s book.

The music mogul, 60, has previously revealed he collaborated on the text with five-year-old Eric, his child with partner Lauren Silverman.

And he is planning to meet publishers in a bid to market his latest project, with the proceeds going to charity.

Simon said: “We wrote it together on a plane journey one day – so whether he likes it or not, he’s in the family business already.”

A TOTAL of 161 firms had names banned last year for being offensive.

Rent A Minger, Sluttys Cheescake, Poofy Wellness, Skinny Bitch Bakery and Carpet Bombing Solutions were all deemed inappropriate by Companies House.

Others rejected were Allcock and Knobal Logistics,

Daft Pr**k, Doggy

Style, Jerk Valley and Dirty D**ks Leisure.

Then there were others like Crystal Bullsh**, C**ty-Candles, You-Cant-Make-This-Sh**-Up and Lawporn.

The longest name vetoed was a would-be firm with a bizarre title which read I Remember

How You Two Started There Always That One Work Colleague Your Not Sure About Keep Checking Your Emails Loose Lips Sink Ships And Suck D**k Ltd. Ukanus, Northern Nuts, Sh**e Productions, Lazy Bitch and The Fudge Packer Fudge Company were also prevented from registering. A would-be public relations firm was stopped from having the name Kill Your Daughters PR, while Suck the Fystem was also vetoed.

A Companies House spokesman said: “As a public register we will not register companies with names that are considered to be offensive to the public.

“Where a company attempts to register such a name we will reject it.”

In the last year, other names that were stopped included

Shagnificent, The Clever Sod Co, Bellend Supply, Carpetdyke and Slapcrapper.

Others that were spiked were Big D**k Energy, T.I.T. One Holding, Nonce, You Must Be Jerkin and Paella Hair Sex LLP.

But last year was certainly not the first in which names have been crossed off for being a bit too naughty.

Crude business titles put forward in 2018 included Cat Sh** Coffee, T*t Technology, Royal Nuts Ltd, T*ts on Bikes, and Feck I.T. Networks Ltd.

And the proposed company titles did not end there.

Other saucy names attempted in the same year included Purple Helmet Motorbikes, Crap Limited, Cocks On Socks and even the baffling AnusBeauty.
