Stormy love life of a telly matchmaker
CAROLINE was best known for presenting a matchmaking TV show, but she struggled with her turbulent love life.
The Love Island host had a rumoured romance with Prince Harry, a “toxic engagement” to reality star Andrew Brady and a controversial relationship with pop star Harry
Styles, who was 17 at the time.
Her most recent boyfriend was model and tennis player Lewis
Burton, 26, who she started dating in July last year.
Police were called to her home in December and she was charged with assaulting her partner.
A court banned the couple from contacting each other before a trial.
She got together with Lewis after being “heartbroken” following her on-off relationship with former Apprentice star
Andrew Brady, who was 11 years her junior.
Caroline met him in 2018. They got engaged after just three months of dating but split several times during their rocky relationship.
Andrew, who has since moved to Australia, recently described their time together as “toxic” after having a tattoo of his former fiancée covered up.
The TV star dated musician Jack Street, 31, in 2014 when he was 26. They were together for 18 months and briefly reunited in 2015. Caroline had previously admitted she nearly slept with Olly Murs when they presented The Xtra Factor together in 2011. Rumours were swirling that the pair were in love as they hosted The X Factor together in
2015 for a year. In 2009, Caroline enjoyed a night out with Prince Harry after they were introduced by their mutual friend Natalie Pinkham.
Caroline spoke of her time with the royal in her memoir, writing: “Once the story got out, that was it. We had to stop seeing each other.
“I was no longer Caroline Flack, TV presenter. I was Caroline Flack, Prince Harry’s bit of rough.”
In 2011, she controversially started dating
17-year-old One Direction’s Harry Styles when she was 31 (inset left).
She said of their brief relationship: “I’ve never felt I was much older than Harry. I still feel 18 and I probably act that way half the time.”
In May last year Caroline had a fling with rugby star Danny Cipriani after her split with Andrew.
They were seen on a break at Babington House in Somerset, where it was said he “couldn’t keep his hands off her”.
But the relationship ran its course after eight weeks.
