Fools’ gold

AFTER the Queen (rightly) stood firm and told Harry and Meghan they could not trade on the Sussex Royal brand – it sounds more like a type of hen or apple anyway – the couple have announced they are to withdraw from royal duties at the end of next month.

That means they start their new lives on April Fools’ Day. It might turn out to be eerily prophetic.
