ANDREW PAL’S HIDEAWAY

- EXCLUSIVE by AARON TINNEY

PRINCE Andrew’s fugitive pal Ghislaine Maxwell could be hiding beneath the sea in a submarine.

The socialite and alleged “madam” for paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein has a licence to pilot “submersible vehicles”.

Investigators believe Epstein – who was found dead in jail last year – had a submarine dock built under a temple at his Little St James island in the Caribbean.

The theory comes as pressure mounts on Maxwell, 58, to emerge from hiding to talk to the FBI about claims she procured underage girls for Epstein.

Virginia Roberts, 36, claims she was trafficked to London by Maxwell and forced to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was 17.

Maxwell and the Duke of York, 60, have strongly denied the allegations against them.

A forum on the Epstein scandal shows a diagram of his Little St James temple with water level calculations, which users say prove it is on top of a submarine bay.

It is accompanied by the message: “Ghislaine had a submarine licence. Coincidence, or is she hiding underwater, right under Jeff’s temple?” Others say she could be in any ocean, given her lifelong passion for sea exploration.

The theory has prompted speculation she may be underwater, with one Twitter user posting: “I’ve heard Ghislaine has a sub licence and there were many levels under Epstein’s temple… what a perfect place to hide.” Maxwell spent time in the

1980s on Lady Ghislaine, a yacht owned by her disgraced media mogul dad Robert. He fell overboard and drowned in 1991. And in a magazine interview, Ghislaine boasted: “I got licences to pilot submarines, pilot helicopters, pilot ROVs and AUVs – remote and tethered vehicles off the back of boats for underwater exploration – and I did lots of technical diving.” Her ex-boyfriend, billionaire Ted Waitt,

57, had a submarine on board his yacht, which Maxwell helped him obtain.

It has also been suggested she may be in an Israeli safe house or is being protected by “powerful friends”.
