I did say to Paige’s dad before he left, “Get me a kilt measured up.” Do you know the rule about a true Scotsman? no boxers underneath…

I’ve never had haggis. It’s on the list.
Are you adding a Paige tattoo to your collection, Finn?
Yeah, maybe Paigey Baby on my arse.
Paige, do you regret calling Finn “big boy”?
As soon as I said it, I knew people were going to run with it.
When Paige’s dad came in the villa and said,“Oi, big boy, can we have a chat?” I was like,“Oh my God.” I saw my mum and dad and thought,“I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that and just go over to them.”
What are your plans?
A movie night. And we want to go on holiday in April and move to Manchester in a few months. We’ve got the deposit. And get a dog.
What dog are you going to get?
English bulldog.
I want a blue Staffy.
You’ve already got a blue Staffy. Let’s compromise and get a bulldog.
And your BFF Shaughna Phillips is moving in, too…
It’s got to happen, there are three of us.
Can you set Shaughna up with a mate, Finn?
Shall I set her up with my cousin?
Why have you not said this before?
I’ll set them up. We’ll double date.
Can you believe you’ve said you love each other?
Not at all. Paige would tell me, “You better not say I love you,” but tell someone else, “I’m waiting for him to say it.”
I was testing him…
I’d write on the shower screen between us,“I love…?”
I knew that night you were nervous ahead of your speech that you were going to do it. I’d written,“I love you,” and then scribbled it out on mine. I was just praying he’d read his declaration out first. I don’t know if I’d have had the balls to say it first.
Were you worried when Luke M came in and asked Paige for a date?
I wasn’t.
Paige knew what she was doing. I was bricking it. We had a chat and I asked her how the date went. All she said to me was, “He’s such a nice guy, we’ve got so much in common.” I thought she was going to pick Luke M at the recoupling until she said, “You put up with my sh*t!”
I wanted it to be very misleading.
What are your thoughts on Breakfast Club, Paige?
It’s lad banter – so whatever.
It was all lighthearted. The boys were terrible at hiding the code – I knew exactly what was going on. Paige gave me the old eyes, so I thought, I better tell her. He didn’t have much choice.
Were you surprised “breakfast” happened?
Yes!
Being in there and sharing a bed for so long and having genuine feelings, it’s hard to fight them. You go in there and you think, “I’m not going to do it,” all of this, all of that, but then you’re living 24/7 having genuine feelings for someone and are really attracted to them. And some of those bikinis – phwoar! My dad will read this, shut up!
You’ve had fiery disagreements – do you both prefer to speak your mind and get it out in the open?
That’s a big thing for me, I hate going to bed in a mood or unhappy, when something’s still looming.
I think if something plays on my mind it’ll get bigger and manifest into something it doesn’t need to. I’d rather just say it. Sometimes bluntly.
Favourite moment?
Walking back into the main villa from Casa Amor and seeing Paige was single. That was very nice.
What has Love Island taught you?
Happy wife, happy life.
It’s taught me a lot about myself, to let the walls come down. And to not shout or swear as much.
Have you got any plans for any other big questions, Finn?
A big proposal.
I’ve got an idea of how I would want to propose. I have thought about marriage with Paigey.
