Horror on motorway

A WOMAN found badly injured beside a motorway may have been thrown from a car.

The victim was discovered on a grass verge with injuries to her head, arm, neck and pelvis.

Police are investigating whether she was ejected from a moving vehicle.

She was taken to hospital after the incident between junctions 8 and 9 of the M20 near Lenham in Kent.

Kent Police said her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A spokesman for the force said last night: “Inquiries are ongoing.”
